Is it just me or do you also think the majority of men from the 70's and 80's are stuck in one particular image?? I remember growing up and being able to distinguish a grown man from my younger peers, but now it seems like the lines are so blurred. Do you think by trying to keep a "youthful" image is helping the generation under us or hurting them? What happened to the classic man?

what do you think is one of the major causes of this epidemic akanundrum1 ? HipHop dominates our culture and HipHop is a young man's sport unlike Jazz, Blues, etc.

agreed, hopefully there can be some sort of stimulated movement made to create a solution.. because i KNOW had my father looked like how most of my peers look today as parents, his image alone would have had me interested in things that woulda got me on the wrong track. not saying im perfect by far, but MUCH MUCH MUCH more worse off possibly akanundrum1

Absolutely. I actually know MUCH older men attempting to "hold on". In our work we see it as a lack of purpose.
When a person is CLEAR on their purpose and working in it they don't need to try to be anything other than they are. They're fulfilled in their space at any age.
It's harmful to the younger generations because they have no one to look up to as examples of manhood.
The elders are holding on to the one time in their life when they felt they still had TIME to be "on purpose"...and remember, amassing money does NOT mean you're living in your purpose.
