That is the universal signal for attitude and ego for me. Depending on the woman, I may be willing to put forth the energy. Generally I sit back and observe once they use that line.

She's a lot to deal with and she knows it.

That translates to me leave her the F alone. If she is with you at the moment, and wants to be..... why would she make that statement.

To me it means she knows she's a lot to handle because she might be a strong women and some men aren't up for the challenge. Hey or simply she's possibly a crazy and emotional female at times

It's the battle flag of a woman who wants a relationship, but probably isn't ready or equipped to sustain one. To me it means she's got some growing up to do. Both in the idea that she needs to be "handled" and the idea that whatever her quirks that it's up to someone else to accept them as presented rather than working together to reach an accord on how we're going to behave with one another. For example as an individual you may decide you'll respond to whatever you want however you want to strangers, but that's not going to fly in a relationship.
It's almost the flip side of the man that says, "I need a woman to hold me down", which usually means, I need you do everything for me, but not hold me accountable for anything. Got some rowing up to do. Not ready for a relationship.
