Why Do You Want To Be In A Relationship?

Because our beliefs are a reflection of our perceptions and attitudes towards relationships and other social constructs...that idea may be true for some. For me I desire a relationship because I have beliefs of duality in this world...because everything has a complement. And for whatever reason my energy force field seems much stronger when I am exchanging love with another. Not just speaking on marital type relationships, but all meaningful, healthy, and loving relationships with males are important to me. I am also nurtured to this idea as a product of a two-parent home.

I do think that socialization has a lot to do with male/female interactions and attitudes regarding what is appropriate or acceptable for relationships, though I would hope that as people grow older they are able to break through social constraints and understand the world as it is, not as it is given. Definitely a combination of nature and nurture...but in our current society, nurture is smothering what is obviously natural.

Man needs woman and woman needs man. We don't value relationship because we're socialized to do so, we value relationship because it's needed for survival.

Feminists are typically single and form their ideas from a space of rebelling against the norm (nature).

Every creature seeks its complement. They understand that not to do so would result in their extinction.

We need to reproduce because that's what our bodies are designed for. The make-up of mankind allows for us to add love to that equation, which I believe, our souls need like the body needs air. We see the dysfunction that happens when people lack love

Wanting, or even needing love is nothing to be ashamed of. Learning how to give ourselves the love we seek is important. It changes what you attract. That's such a huge part of why women are so jaded about love. At least it was for me.

I attracted men who gave me back what I was giving myself. I stayed through foolishness and wasn't loyal to my own standards so that's what I attracted. When I learned to love myself, correct my mistakes and really value myself, I attracted a better man immediately and we've been building ever since.

So I've pretty much dedicated my life and work to helping other women do the same and embrace the parts of them that WANT to be loved and want the things they were designed to have.
