Thanks, I have a few more. I even have some " Gospel " poems but I no longer follow organized religion. AT ALL. I tried it for about 2 years or so and "real-eyes" its not for me. I had one poem that I wrote towards the end of my religious days that summed up all i was feeling at the time and how I was pretty much torn between being religious and non religious but I lost it and I can not remember it at the moment. I think i'll find it soon though. It was one of my deepest poems I wrote. (ruff times). |

I can relate. I don't follow organized religion anymore myself, especially since it was forced upon us anyway. Keep up with your poems.. You never know who may need to hear the words you speak..

I almost feel like I have let many people down because currently, I do not write a quarter as much as I used to write. I plan on picking it back up though and you are right about that. And for the religion, I used to be just a spiritual person, and then I tried out religion (Completely not for me) and now I'm back to what fits me, and thats just being spiritual ( not really into labelling my soul, but I do feel like my belief in God, or Goddess, or Gods, or Goddesses or whatever it, they, we, I may be is stronger than a lot of people who are religious. Not that it's a competition though.) |

Do what's best for you and your soul.. If it feels like speaking out, then let it. Don't worry about what other folks think in reference to you writing. It is your gift from the Most High and you share it whenever you see fit.
