As the world burns we grasp at destiny that was taken from the palm of our hands. Stolen lands, turn the sky red yet united we stand. The beast no longer sleeps, as wolves walk with sheep on concrete streets they call jungle. No longer humble, Nobody crying, no more dying, its time for babylon to fear the roar of the lion. Sick of the curruption, the earth trembles, it's the signs of the eruption,of 100 million souls screaming we can't take it no more. Stolen from distant shores, you keep calling for peace but all you show us is war. Taught us your ways to kill and destroy. Took the books from our schools, left us with needles and whores. Now tell me who u accuse of a crime. Now u see what will happen when you corner a lion. When fire start flying. Mothers and fathers crying. Tired of their sons dying. Fist in the air. Dare you to hold the lions stare. Dare you to pretend that you care. Is this what you call justice? Or is it how this world just is?......Tell me what will u do when the lion has nowhere to run? #poemsbyesco
