Me being a business owner allows me to see and hear so much of our men, the men I speak of are controlled in a way that disturbs me. No man in a relationship has to Rule his home with an iron fist, but have a backbone. I'm sure a lot of barbers see this, the couple comes in and when his haircut is finished, he asks the female if its ok, this is where I have to speak to the K'ueen in my chair. I do understand her involvement in the well groomed look of her mate and his appreciation of her care, but they allow them to control the entire cut. As The Barber, this frustrates me. I've witnessed men get dropped off to the shop in his car, the woman goto a store, return, look into the shop, then call his phone. He then states after waiting for 15-20min say they have to leave, being next in the chair. Some of us men can admit, we've allowed women to control us. I have one client who stands on 90% of women controlling the household. Is this house single parent or having both parents? That damn statement of single mothers, my children don't have, nor' need a man to raise them. Here begins the mindset being destroyed for generations of what, A Family is. Hence, The effeminization of the Male.

Wow!! That sounds more like her son than her man. I've never understood women who feel the need to overbear their men publicly. What people do behind closed doors is their business but I often wonder if these women realize regardless if they conform to gender roles or not society will still view a weak man as a weak household... Regardless of how strong she is. Because the truth of the matter is no one takes up with a person that they can completely control male or female...unless they have some weakness and insecurities themselves.
