So I'm 38 years old. I have gone out on dates with women that are 48 and women that are 22... is there a point where the age of the person truly doesn't matter? Whats the cut off in age difference for two adults?

I'm going to be corny and say that age\time etc. is merely a human construct. But under eighteen would be stretching it, BIG TIME!

I believe that it is all about maturity. I have been in relationships with people who were twice my age before. So, I really think its all about how both parties feel. I have dated someone who was closer to my mother's age, and he had children my age. In situations such as this, it can be a bit awkward for some people. In my opinion, as long as it is a genuine relationship, the age of the person does not matter. I do agree that you would want to make sure they are at least 18.

Agreed there are some young old souls and people who never grow up! It's all about finding a good balance in your partner.

younger days the biggest age difference for me was 9yrs, she was older.. never dated anyone more than 3yrs younger than me before
but to answer your question being 40, i dont think i could see myself with anyone under 35.. unless their interests are the same as mine which is probably unlikely these days.. im way too enigmatic for most young folks, hell im too enigmatic for anybody really

I agree with it being based off the maturity of the two individuals.

Whats the cut off in age difference for two adults? I think progressions in life separate one age group from another. My groups would stay within 18-24, 25-29, 30-35, 36-45, 46-54, 55+ be careful with everybody bc retirement is around the corner and you don't want to mess that up
