What do you do whenever you are in a relationship with someone who has different values than you (things like diet or spirituality)? Is it wrong to not want to be in a relationship with someone who hasn't awakened yet?

Woah, different diet AND spirituality, good luck with that. It's not wrong it just takes two non ignorant people. If they're still sleeping, what is there to talk about??

I feel like when it comes to beliefs, many people become really defensive. It is really hard to hold meaningful conversations with someone who refuses to open their eyes to the truth. I have been in a relationship with someone who didn't have similar beliefs and it was horrible. All the progress I was making in my spiritual journey seemed to diminish. I don't want to be picky or anything, but I just refuse to stunt my growth any longer.
