Daddy's Arms

One of my best memories with my father would have to be going on long car rides with him. For the most part, he would never shut up. He would literally talk about everything. Very spiritual conversations as well. I always enjoyed hearing him speak, and I was usually quiet so that I could listen.He almost appears to be a prophet in my life, which took me a little while to understand, but now I know to pay attention even more for the hidden message whenever he talks. I was able to speak to my father about everything. Life, women, sex, politics, the government, the military, animals, space, aliens, karma, religion, skills and trades (example: if I needed to know how to change a tire or fix something), money, music,and literally whatever else I could think of. Now, I'm both sad and happy because he is starting to become the one that asks me for advice in certain things, and its becoming a little more often that I talk and he listens. Im happy because I can return the favor. Sad because...... maybe it's a sign that his life force is transferring over to me. That he will not be here forever. That one day... I won't be able to talk to him anymore. At times,we do disagree, may even get mad at each other but the respect has always remained on both sides from day one. I can truly say, that he is my favorite person to communicate with so far in my existence on this planet. Maybe because I am him. Or maybe because he is me.... As much as we have talked, I don't feel like we have ever talked enough. Truthfully, I don't feel like we ever will.
