It goes without saying...DRAKE has loved Nicki FOREVER! He's professed his love for her in SEVERAL songs and interviews, he even thought he was "next in line" until Meek Mill intercepted that play. It also goes without saying, Nicki Minaj is bestowing an UNPRECEDENTED amount of affection and attention on Meek, something her ex of 14 years couldn't even get.
So why wasn't that enough for Meek? Claerly, head-to-head Drake is winning in every area, career wise he has everything Meek is aspiring to have, YET the ONE THING Drake wants that he can't have, Meek has...the GIRL of his dreams.
But why wasn't that enough for Meek? Most people know, Drake is the REAL #MrStealYoGirl and most men would be wise to feel some apprehension if he's in a 1 mile radius of their significant other...but it's crystal clear, Nicki has chosen Meek, so why wasn't that enough to calm appease #TwitterFingers?

A man's MEANS is so attached to his ego girl! OMG! They have to be the best, especially in their chosen profession....ESPECIALLY in front of their women. And then consider the fact that his WOMAN is better at his JOB than him, so he HAD to go at the best MAN in his field to try to prove something to himself AND her....too bad Drake had "writers" on DECK!

I don't think Meek's ill-advised publicity stunt was about not having enough. It was more like a dude walking into the Olympic Gymnasium, running out on the floor to do a tumbling pass, and only realizing mid-flip, that he was not Gymnast and had absolutely NO chance of "sticking the landing". Nicki is his girl (for now) and it is common knowledge that Drake still swooning for her (no matter how many blurry tabloid photos you see of he and Serena) which just makes the fact that he beat Meek silly that more baffling. How are you a Battle Rap circuit veteran WITH the girl that your rival has pined for publicly, and you still out here getting your whole career tasered? An Afro-Judeo De Grassi veteran from the Ja Rule school of "sing song" rap, bodied you and made the diss tracks money making classics and a trending topic at - the - same - time. If the alphabet was made of 26 L's, there still wouldn't be enough L's to illustrate how bad Meek lost. For God's sake they were out there making T-shirts about you. How did THAT happen? That's the question we need to ask.
If Drake does have ghost writers (which I'm not disputing) Meek needs to do a seance and try to recruit some of them, cause Sheesh.

Make no mistake...men strive to be rich and famous and at the top of their game in order to make it easier to get women. That has been the case since forever. That being said, Drake understands the one thing that many don't see...consistancy. yea she can say she likes thugs and hood niggas, but at the end of the day she will hit up drake when she needs to talk, when meek actin stupid, when she is bored. And finally....he is still around as they both go through there dating thing. What he has down is skillfully show her that he could do better than her current situation while giving her room to breathe. He positioned himself as the side piece, the homie lover friend, the one who she would fuck but never let anyone know. Anyone who has played that roll understands what he is doing. So meek gets the girl in the spotlight. Drake gets the girl when the lights go off
