ICYMI, Ashley Madison is an online "dating site" created for married people to go find "flings" or lasting affairs. Their tagline is "Life is Short, Have an affair".
They have MILLIONS of users! 40 MILLION according to their catchy advertisement! That's a LOT of broken homes!
Until NOW, their database has been completely secret and anonymous. But the elders always say, "If you wanna keep a secret, don't write it!" In modern terms "Don't type it, Post it, Tweet it...or think it's secure when it's floating around the web!"
It's true - "All things done in the dark WILL come to light!"
They've been HACKED! Names have been leaked! Reports claim they've put a bounty on the head of the hacker.
Other sources are reporting that victims (le CHEATERS) are going as far as suicide (YIKES!)
They're supposed to be offering payouts to the betrayed but....i mean, how much can you really pay a person for their pain?
Some HIGH profile names are being leaked!
What y'all think? The penalty of cheating. The craziness of what's available on the internet nowadays...and how we can protect our love from these kinds of things.

Unpopular opinion, but I don't think it's our business. They have to account for their wrongs whether the public kniws about ir not. What do we have to gain besides knowing that they did it?

There's been lawsuits filed against mistresses for causing marriages to dissolve...but who actually breached the contract? I hate the notion that women are constantly blamed for men's infidelity. It's the same way prostitutes are arrested while johsn rarely ever are. Although I feel WOMEN need to have a bond with WOMEN that would stop them from harming their sisters... the men took the vows.
I can't lie...for once at least the men are having to deal with the shame of these situations, petty I know.
But I'm being honest.

Nei although it's their business, it's happening in OUR community too. Maybe not on such a large scale but it's happening ALL the time. That's why I posed those questions at the end, because it's something lots of couples go through.

akanundrum1 I feel you that men should be made to pay for their own indiscretions. In THIS case, BOTH should be penalized BECAUSE these women were intentionally dealing with married men. In cases where the man may be lying to the mistress, I don't fault her but these women obviously knew....As OFTEN happens in relationships. We all know the woman who proudly waves the banner of being "the other woman" and is a rampant home wrecker. Those women should be held accountable alongside their male counterparts. This whole thing is messy messy MESSY! BUT, dealing with different couples, "cyber-cheating" is a HUGE trend and definitely needs to be addressed (especially in the realm of cyber dating)

Accountability on both ends not just one. Nit one wrong was worse than the other. They both are at the same level of fault and GREED!!

This whole leak just makes me even more skeptical about finding a partner that will stay faithful, physically and emotionally. We live in a world where you don't have to wait for satisfaction. You can get it as fast as you can type in your username and password into onlinebootycall.com lol. No one wants to do the hard work of talking through their problems anymore. I'm still hopeful that there might be one faithful and loyal man out there for me. Time will tell, I guess.

thickyfitt01 We bring about what we speak about queen. Remember that first and foremost. Many of the media's ploys are to make us believe that there are no good people out there. My husband and I are relationship coaches and you'd be surprised how many SINGLE men we meet who just want something real, solid and old fashioned. Don't give up on our brothers. They're out here! Lavish in the belief that your good man is seeking you too!

Thank you amirinyahya!!! I really appreciate that! I'm a work in progress and I'm learning on how to use my thoughts to create the reality I want and how to take a more proactive role in creating that reality. I'm not ready for my King just yet, but I am working on becoming the Queen I think he deserves.
